Tip 9 – To avoid wilted Salad Greens.
To avoid wilted salad greens, toss greens in a little oil before
adding the dressing. The oil will coat
the leaves so the greens don’t wilt.
Only add the dressings on salads just before serving.
Tip 10 – A Great
Recipe for “White Sauce”
Do you need a great recipe for White Sauce? If you do, then look no more for this is the
one to use. Keep it handy! It is easy
and can be used with many different dishes.
White Sauce
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 c milk
¼ tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
2 tbsp margarine (or use butter)
Combine cornstarch, salt, and
pepper in a saucepan and gradually blend in milk until smooth. Add margarine. Bring to a boil over medium heat while
stirring constantly. Boil for 1 minute.
Pour over vegetables and serve.
